Chief Executive
South West Lakes Trust

What skills & experience do you bring to the CSP Board?
I hold a BA honours degree in Leisure Management and have been involved with sport and outdoor recreation for over ten years. As Chief Executive of South West Lakes Trust I am passionate about giving people from all walks of life the opportunity to benefit from health giving experiences in the great outdoors - whether that's having a stroll, going for a bike ride or taking part in high octane watersports activities.

Tell us a little bit about yourself:
My working week is spent in Cornwall, Devon and Somerset, leading an innovative and fun charity - alongside colleagues who are passionate about looking after our environment and getting people out and about enjoying the great outdoors. Then I go home to the Cotswolds and relax with my wife, four children (and two dogs) in beautiful's a hard life!

What do you like to do in your free/spare time?
I really enjoying cycling around the Cotswolds - lovely views, very little traffic and very few big hills! As a family we go camping at least twice a year and love to visit the North Cornwall coast (where I grew up) - bodyboarding or just messing about in the sea followed by a BBQ at dusk. I also play cricket for Chipping Campden - although I have to confess it now takes a couple of days to recover. My other passion is Tottenham Hotspur - sorry about that!
